Network-wide training
The Network-wide training will be coordinated by the Training Coordinator (MGEP) and is structured as follows:
- An introduction event focussing on integrating the ESRs into the DiManD team.
- 6 DiManD training schools to deliver high quality technical training from leading experts in the relevant fields.
- Network-wide collaborative integrated project to deliver the legacy of the project and encourage team working by establishing the Integrated Training and Demonstration Platform.
Role of non-academic sector in the training programme
DiManD considers the participation of the non-academic sector as fundamental to the success of the next generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative researchers in Digital Manufacturing. The non-academic sector is strongly involved in the networkwide training courses offered in DiManD and for intersectoral secondments.
