CAMPUS FACILITIES

The Faculty of Grastronomic Sciences is in charge of managing the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Degree taught at the Basque Culinary Centre.

 

 

Basque Culinary Centre Campus

The Basque Culinary Centre Gastronomic Sciences Faculty is located in a five-storey building in the Miramón Technology Park in Donostia-San Sebastián.

An innovative, thought-provoking and audacious building, perfectly integrated into nature and the environment, in which you can find themed cooking classrooms, workshops, study areas, a laboratory and other training spaces.

From the point of view of sustainability, it includes active and passive measures for energy saving, with the use of Renewable Energies. In addition, every year we organise the Sustainable Gastronomy Seminars to demonstrate the economic, environmental and social benefits of sustainable catering.

The BCC includes a Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences located in Donostia-San Sebastian and attached to the Mondragon Unibertsitatea and a Food and Gastronomy Research and Innovation Centre, a unique project at a European level.

It is a living Faculty where gastronomy enthusiasts and culinary professionals also live together, where we organise events, conference cycles and seminars, cultural events....

The faculty offers state-of-the-art facilities where students will find the best cooking practice workshops, tasting rooms, sensorial analysis rooms, laboratories, high technology applied to restaurants, practice restaurants, a photographic production and video post-production workshop, work and study areas, library and auditorium.

A sspace with innovative kitchen equipment and a room to develop a new gastronomic concept.

Sensory Analysis Classroom

A classroom designed for learning through practical classes how to perform a sensory analysis of products.

Equipped with the facilities and equipment needed for research into the world of gastronomy and cuisine.

 

Creative Innovation Workshop

Specially designed to encourage creativity and to develop innovative ideas.

Tasting room for the world of wine.

To put into practice everything you have learnt about the world of wine, to conduct tastings and to experiment.

A space that simulates a real restaurant where you can practice cooking and dining service.

 

Photography and Video Workshop

You can take pictures and videos of food, recipes, products and processes, and edit them.

Equipped with the latest technology, you can experiment with flavours, food, recipes and ways of cooking.
