We are looking for STEM professionals to inspire young people in STEM fields.
We are participating in the GALAXIA project together with Innobasque and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, with the aim of raising awareness among secondary and high school students about STEM subjects.
The Basque industrial sector has a great need for talent, and it is suspected that this need will only increase in the future. Therefore, several stakeholders working in the field of science and technology are joining forces to raise awareness among young people in the STEM field.
The Mondragon University Higher Polytechnic School is participating in the GALAXIA project together with Innobasque, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, and other entities. The goal is to inspire young people in STEM topics, and to this end, we are seeking professionals working in STEM. For now, we want to identify individuals or organizations who want to participate and thus create a database.
And then what?
Starting in September 2025, various activities will be launched with 25 educational centers, and these professionals will receive an invitation to participate: talks at educational centers, visits by groups of students to companies, etc.
And then we'll see. It's possible that in the coming years the project will expand with more types of activities and more educational centers.
