The Higher Polytechnic School is a partner of EIDE and in this context the General Assembly, an open session and a guided tour of the laboratories have been organized.

The Basque Country Designers Association (EIDE) held its General Assembly in Arrasate on March 14th, and Mondragon University's Higher Polytechnic School hosted the event.

In addition to the meeting, an open session was held to discuss the challenges facing the creative sector in terms of sustainability, including circularity and the increased value of waste.

Participants also visited the recently opened HIREKIN center at Mondragon University's Higher Polytechnic School, the new Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center for Sustainable Industrial Transformation. The business ideas established there will be based on sustainability and technology.

Finally, Mondragon University's Engineering Faculty also had the opportunity to visit its laboratories and design facilities, where projects developed by students and researchers were presented.
