Professors from the Brazilian state of Paraíba will receive training in sustainability and technical vocational training at Mondragon University
On October 7 to 11, a group of professors from Mondragon’s Polytechnic School and the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences (Humanitate eta Hezkuntza Zientzien Fakultatea, HUHEZI) met with representatives of the Secretariat of Education of the state of Paraíba in Brazil in relation to two training courses offered to teachers in the state of Paraíba by Mondragon University, one having to do with Sustainability, and the other with Technical Vocational Training. This visit allowed participants to learn about the educational system of the state of Paraíba in greater detail.
Teachers participate in this training through the “Conexão Mundo-Professores” program in progress in the state of Paraíba.
Both training courses are being taught as hybrid courses, first online, and then on site, throughout the course. The Brazilian teachers will be in Arrasate and Eskoriatza, where they will immerse themselves in the academic, industrial and business culture of the Basque Country, which will allow them to become familiar with the local cooperative model.
